We are now working on Persian/Greek war diaries/journals. I am doing pretty well with this large class of middle school students but I feel as though I am getting tested by a few of the boys. This is to be expected and I am using my behavior strategies, such as pulling them aside and talking to them individually as well relocating them to different parts of the classroom. I am also working on keeping up my repoire with them. I know these are all helping, because the infractions are not terrible just a little disruptive at times.Is this the best I can expect from this age group of kids?
